Bristol Landlords earn some of the highest rents for Student Property according to an article written by Natasha Al-Atassi for Vita Student. We are very excited that Vita’s next project is coming to Bristol! Now is the time to get educated on Student Accommodation as an investment.

The article reads as follows:

Landlords letting out student properties in Bristol can expect to earn among the highest rents in the UK.

A recent study by Haart estate agents revealed that students at The University of Bristol in the south-west city pay more for their accommodation than students at some of the other Russell Group universities.

Its research, which was published in The Times, showed that students typically pay £96 a week in Bristol. Haart stated this is higher than average student rental costs in the capital, which means landlords with student properties in London earn less than in other regions of the country.

The findings also showed people studying at The University of Cambridge pay the highest rents in the UK, as average student accommodation rental fees in Cambridge being £97.25 per week, which is significantly higher than the £77.50 a week charged for The University of Oxford students.

Landlords looking for a region to invest in student property could also consider university cities that have a large population of international students. Tanya Powley wrote in The Financial Times that “universities that prove successful in recruiting overseas students will be the top investment locations”.
